Electric Vehicle Charging

SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION

Electric car charging point

Compared to the industry-standard public chargers, home EV Chargers charge significantly faster! Typically requiring around 4–6 hours of charging time using a Level 2 charger (wall-mounted units that offer a maximum voltage of 240 volts); leaving you with no need to wait at an external station for long periods. Allowing you to simply park your vehicle overnight while you sleep and wake up in possession of sufficient power – ready for any journey!

Topping up your electric vehicle at home is a stress free perk of EV ownership. By installing a home EV charger you have more control over when you can charge your car and for how long. Gone are the days of having to leave early for work to fuel up. Now, you can simply charge your car outside your front door.

The key differences of home charging

Using a standard 3-pin plug can take over 24 hours to fully charge your EV whereas a home charging point is able to deliver faster charging times in a safe and reliable manner.
A home wall charging point does not require various cables running through the house.
An electric car can be easily and quickly plugged into the externally mounted charging point.

Different types of home wall chargers can be purchased, including fast charging units and ‘smart’ units giving you extra features!
For example, smart units can be programmed remotely to charge your electric car at certain times.

A professional electrician is required to install a home charging unit.
